EPA Award for John Lipscomb

We learned this week that our very own John Lipscomb has been chosen as a recipient of the 2011 Environmental Quality Award.

This award is given out each year by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2 office to a select group of individuals and organizations “who have contributed significantly to improving the environment during the prior year.”

John has been improving the environment in the Hudson Valley for the past 10 years, and we hope for many more to come!

I have found that most of the people who love boating also support environmental protection. The natural surroundings for them is very important.
